Equus is a premium horse apparel brand focused on high-quality leather pieces for riders who value durability, craftsmanship, and style. The brand needed an identity that reflected its roots in bush riding while elevating it beyond the traditional, balancing a sense of heritage with a refined, modern edge and a subtle wildness.

the resolution.

The identity centres around a custom illustrated mark of a rearing horse, paired with a refined serif typeface and cursive script, anchored by the founding year. This combination brings together strength and elegance, capturing both the wild spirit of riding and the brand’s timeless, heritage feel. The visual direction extends across imagery, a website and applications.
